I was invited to share my insights as a panellist during the webinar on “Taxation of high net-worth individuals: current trends in selected jurisdictions”.

This session, organized by the Swiss Association of Wealth Managers (SAM), explored the latest trends regarding the taxation of high-net-worth individuals in selected jurisdictions (notably France, India, and the United Arab Emirates), which were then compared with the Swiss landscape. The topic was approached from a holistic perspective, with the panel balancing tax considerations with non-tax aspects. The situation of different types of taxpayers was also considered. The session was chaired by the inimitable Prof. Dr. Robert J. DANON, and comprised fellow panellists such as Dr. Giammarco Cottani, LL.M, Prof. Daniel Gutmann, and Mr. Benjamin Malek.
